Big one this week.
There's an all-Rhode-Island beer festival Saturday (on a golf course, no less), a free Sunday block party in Portsmouth, and live music at a brewery in just about any direction you'd point the car. Pick by region, mood, or whoever's coming along.
If you only pick one
Ocean State Brewers Fest — Bristol
Saturday, 2–5:30 at Bristol Golf Park. It's the one festival that pours Rhode Island breweries exclusively, this year spread across a few golf holes with chipping-and-putting contests and food vendors on site. 21+, tickets ahead of time. Grab one and make a Bristol afternoon of it.

Vigilant Brewing — Bristol
Best two-stop Saturday
Sat: 4th-anniversary weekend, a short walk from the beer fest
Why go: Already heading to Bristol for the festival? Vigilant’s marking four years right nearby — an easy add-on to make a full afternoon of it. Check their page for the weekend lineup.
Worth keeping on the radar
Trágmar Ale Works — Bristol. Friday open mic with Dave Cousins (6–9) and Pat Barone Saturday (6–9); easy, friendly East Bay nights.
Tower Hill Brewing — South Kingstown. Saturday-evening live music if you’re closer to the South County line.
Coming Up
Ragged Island Block Parties — Portsmouth runs free Sunday block parties through August (next up July 12: Crosby/Stills/Nash & Young and Allman Brothers tributes). Good ones to put on the calendar.
That’s it for this week.
